There’s a picture at the Rock’n’Roll Hall of Fame of Elvis, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee, and Johnny Cash (presumably from that “I Shall be Released” song Mary played) gathered around the piano
You mean they drove all night from Houston to New Orleans to record “Rocket 88” and someone beat them to the “First Rock Song Ever” finish line?
