From the Pacifica Radio Archives: Connecting Our Literary Past to Today

Today’s show features excerpts from three of the most resonant and enduring works of the 20th century: The Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison, War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy, and 1984 by George Orwell. We will be listening to segments of Pacifica Radio’s recordings of these masterpieces, which are available as part of our fund-drive thank-you gift, the Pacifica Radio Archives Collection: Voices that Change the World. In addition to these audiobooks, the collection includes over 1300 hours of material spanning hundreds of topics and forms, from radio documentaries to audiobooks to music programs .

Letters & Politics and KPFA are offering the Pacifica Radio Archives Collection: Voices that Change the World for a donation of $200.
