Why Nuremberg and the US Invasion of Iraq Matter Today

Marking the Fifteen Anniversary of the unwarranted invasion of Iraq in 2003, Mitch Jeserich is in conversation with guest Rebecca Gordon to talk about how to this day, none of the architects of the war in Iraq or any of the administrators who oversaw it haven’t been accountable for the crimes committed there.  In fact, Gina Haspel a CIA official who ran a Black Site in Thailand has been nominated to become the next CIA director in the current Trump administration.

Our guest is Rebecca Gordon, she teaches Ethics and Social Theory at the University of San Francisco and is the author of the book American Nuremberg: The American Officials Who Should Stand Trial for Post 9/11 War Crimes.
