On this episode of It’s Going Down, we speak with Brad Thomson, an attorney in Chicago, about the case of Daniel Baker, an anarchist, antifascist, veteran, and former volunteer in the YPG, or the People’s Protection Units, which fought against ISIS in autonomous areas of Kurdistan in Syria. Baker has been sentenced to several years in prison for making posts on Facebook, calling for protests against far-Right rallies at the Florida state captiol several days after the January 6th attempted coup.
