The House has passed a bill extending warrantless surveillance of foreigners and the Americans that communicate with them, despite Donald Trump’s stated opposition to that bill and his subsequent flip flopping. On our show today we’ll turn to Shahid Buttar of the Electronic Frontier Foundation for more. Then, as the deadline for Trump to extend the Iran nuclear deal approaches, our foreign policy and empire correspondent Rahul Mahajan will explain the importance of the deal. Finally, as we approach the next Women’s March, author and activist Gordon Whitman will discuss his new book Stand Up! How to Get Involved, Speak Out, and Win in a World on Fire.
