Today marked the fourth night of protests in Charlotte, North Carolina. Hundreds of angered, traumatized and frustrated citizens took to the streets to demand an end to state violence in the wake of Keith Lamont Scott’s, 43, shooting death at the hands of a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department officer identified as Brentley Vinson. We spoke with Pastor Michael McBride of the PICO Network, Rosa Clemente and Shanelle Long about what’s happening in Charlotte, North Carolina.

It was readily apparent from the very beginning that the family of the pavement-ape was lying when they said he was carrying a book, not a gun.
