Uprising in Charlotte Update: No Justice, No Peace

Today marked the third night of protests in Charlotte, North Carolina. Hundreds of angered, traumatized and frustrated citizens took to the streets to demand an end to state violence in the wake of Keith Lamont Scott’s, 43, shooting death at the hands of a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Departmentofficer identified as Brentley Vinson. We spoke with Pastor Michael McBride of the PICO Network and a protester who witnessed the police shooting of Justin Carr, both in Charlotte.
