Davey D and Vylma V speak with Oscar Lopez Rivera in the KPFA studios. Lopez Rivera was incarcerated for 35 years for his role in fighting for Puerto Rico’s independence. President Barack Obama commuted López Rivera’s sentence and he was released from prison on May 17, 2017, after 35 years in prison.
