This hour, we’ll present – “The Anti-Inauguration,” an event put on by Jacobin Magazine,— along with Haymarket Books and Verso. Held in Washington, D.C’s Lincoln Theatre on inauguration, Friday, January, 20th 2017…initiated discourse that centered on conversation about what resistance should look like in the age of Trump and what kind of positive program we should be fighting for.
“The Anti-Inauguration,” featured a collection of powerhouse speakers, such as author and activist Naomi Klein, journalist Anand Gopal, the Intercept‘s Jeremy Scahill, the Guardian‘s Owen Jones, and Princeton African-American Studies professor Keeanga-Yamahtta Taylor.
