On Wednesday, Hugo Pinell, 71, was killed and 11 inmates were treated for stab wounds when fighting broke out at California State Prison-Sacramento. Pinell, in jail since 1965, had been serving three life sentences. On today’s program we speak with long-time activist, journalist and former Black Panther member Kiilu Nyasha about the life and death of revolutionary organizer and political prisoner Hugo “Yogi” Pinell.
