Tonight we feature women in business. Business ownership in this country has been dominated by men…. But of course the times are changing. According to the 2012 U.S. Census data there were 9.9 million women owned firms in the country…. That’s up from 7.8 million in 2007 coming in at over a 26%.increase…California came in on top with the most women-owned businesses in the country with 1.3 million. We will look at 3 different businesses, each one owned and operated by women entrepreneurs. We talk with the owners of Curbside Creamery, Mamacita’s Café and El Pipila.
