Walker is the recipient of numerous awards including the Pulitzer prize, the National Book Award, and the Mahmoud Darwish Literary Prize for Fiction. Alice also has a delightful new children’s book Sweet People Are Everywhere, illustrated lovingly by Quim Torres.
