Most folks in the San Francisco Bay Area are proud of the ethnic diversity and outwardly like to value it. But the true history of the Bay Area reveals the US disease of segregation is alive and well in Da Bay and has many historic roots that have created this condition.

The Haas Institute at UC Berkeley has initiated a study series titled, “Segregation in the San Francisco Bay Area”. This study is being released in five parts and part two was just released Wednesday, February6.
We will discuss the study and its parts with Stephen Menendian of the Haas Institute and what it reveals about our Bay Area and its living legacy of segregation.

Hosted by Andres Soto.
