Democratic National Convention – July 28, 2016

Sanders DelegatesHillary Clinton officially accepts the Democratic Presidential nomination, becoming the first woman to be the nominee of either major party. She reaches out to Bernie Sanders supporters say they had put economic and social justice issues front and center, where they belong and pledging to work with Sanders on making public college education free for poor and middle class families. Clinton also jabbed at Donald Trump saying a “man you can bait with a tweet is not a man we can trust with nuclear weapons.” Sanders supporters staged protests inside the convention hall, some wearing glow in the dark neon shirts.
