CubaHost/producer Nina Serrano interviews Sara Cooper, founder and director of Cubana Books which translates and publishes contemporary Cuban women writers. Sara Copper is an extraordinary reader. She presents excerpts from the stories by two Cuban women writer’s, Aida Barr and Maria Elena Llana, and speaks about their work in the context of Cuba today. The program concludes with Nina Serrano reading her own poems from “TropiCuba.”
