Host/producer Nina Serrano will be rebroadcasting “A Tribute to Palestinian Poet Mahmoud Darwish” Darwish
published 30 volumes of poetry and has been described as “ … the essential breath of the Palestinian people, the eloquent witness of exile and belonging.”
The program features poets: Jack Hirschman, Deema Shihabi, Lenore Weiss and Neeli Cherkovski. Each poet
reads a poem by Darwish and one of their own.
This is a rebroadcast from 2008, the year of Mahmoud Darwish’s passing and is dedicated to peace and poetry.
