First time visiting KPFA online. Fantastic! Wondering if there is a way for the hearing impaired to read Dr. Sertima’s special? Also wondering if there will be any specials around how teachers can apply black history month with more efficacy. My students and I celebrate black history year round, and i’d love to have a more broad emphasis about the global influence of African peoples. Also would love to strike their imaginations by creating youth-friendly curriculum around the colonization of the imagination, and their potential as changemakers.
