Doug, It would be great if you could get some people who have been on the ground in Syria to speak on your show. I bet Robin Yassin-Kassab would be willing. Burning Country is an excellent account of the early democratic, secular uprising and Assad’s brutal crushing of the revolution and how Assad’s actions directly led to the islamization of the conflict.
