One Of Trump and Miller’s ICE Thugs Just Executed a 37 Year-Old Woman, a Legal Observer, in Minneapolis
We will begin with the shooting of a 37 year-old white woman not involved with the protest in Minneapolis today, killed by an ICE agent after one ICE agent tried to rip her door open, the shooter got in front of the vehicle and then shouted, ‘Stop!’ before firing three times within a second of saying, ‘Stop, shooting into the car as it went past him. The spokeswoman for DHS claims the victim had weaponized her car and was attempting to run down the ICE agent which bystanders and local officials dispute and videos make clear didn’t happen. Joining us from Minneapolis to describe what happened and examine the claims by DHS which the Minneapolis Mayor calls “bullshit” is, Ana Pottratz Acosta, a Professor of Law at Mitchell Hamline School of Law and a Clinical Professor of Law at The University of Minnesota focusing on health law, immigration law and human rights law. She previously practiced as an immigration attorney for the Lutheran Social Services of New York Immigration Legal Services Program and at Stinson Leonard Street as an attorney in the immigration law group where she represented clients in employment-based immigration matters and supervised non-immigration attorneys on pro bono immigration matters.
