Arts-Waves on Cover to Cover

Arts-Waves – September 23, 2019: Tim Flannery, 2006

Special edition of Arts-Waves devoted to Climate Change

Tim Flannery has been arguing about the effects of climate change for close to fifteen years. His book “The Weather Makers,” published over 13 years ago, discusses the causes of climate change, the possible outcomes, and potential solutions — all of which needed to begin at that time. On tour for “The Weather Makers,” he talked about climate change with host Richard Wolinsky at KPFA on April 12, 2006. While reference is made to George W. Bush in the interview, it is still utterly timely in 2019. An extended version of this program can be found as a Radio Wolinsky podcast.
