Michael Crichton (1942-2008) penned several best-selling novels over the course of his lifetime, including The Andromeda Strain, Sphere, and Disclosure, directed and wrote films (Westworld) and was the leading mainstream writer of science fiction during the 1980s through 2000s. In 1990, he came to KPFA on a book tour for Jurassic Park, perhaps his biggest and most successful best-seller, and spoke with Richard A. Lupoff and Richard Wolinsky. This is the first time this interview has been heard in a quarter-century. Digitized and re-edited in 2015 by Richard Wolinsky.
