I was dismayed listening to the highly one sided item about Kashmir.
How come you guys did not have anyone to represent the Kashmiri Hindu point of view?
The problem with Kashmir started decades or perhaps centuries ago where muslims have been ethnically cleansing Hindus from the region through violence and intimidation. Now that they have driven out enough Hindus to become the majority, they want to declare independence or join the Pakis.
The same thing happened in Pakistan as a whole where almost all the Hindus were forced out – today the Hindu population in Pakistan has gone down from near 20% to less than 2% in just a few decades.
They are doing the same thing in Kashmir.
KPFA should at least cover the plight of all the people of Kashmir – not just muslims.
