In the wake of rising violent crimes against the AAPI community, Thuy Nguyen set out to listen to the stories of Asian American Women on identity and racism. As the stories unfolded, her own story unfolded and what is revealed is a rich and complex tapestry of what it means to be an Asian American woman and the importance of reclaiming one’s own experience and identity in response to the ongoing dehumanizing messages and violence against the AAPI community.
