Cover to Cover Open Book – Zulu Krewe 100th Anniversary

Sally Phillips ushers in Mardi Gras with a show about the Zulu Krewe which celebrates its 100th anniversary this year!  To commhe Louisiana State Museum & the Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club proudly present a major new exhibit exploring the origins, unique Carnival traditions, and cultural and civic contributions of Zulu from 1909 to the present in an exhibit: "From Tramps to Kings: 100 Years of Zulu."  Tune in to Open Book on KPFA this Friday, Feb. 20th at 3pm as we continue to celebrate Black History Month, and learn about New Orleans' own Zulu Krewe!
