Jack begins the new year with some auld lang syne. Today’s show is a re-broadcasting of “The City Wears a Slouch Hat,” a radio play by poet Kenneth Patchen with sound/music by John Cage. “The City Wears a Slouch Hat” was first broadcast May 31, 1942 in a production by the Columbia Workshop. The cast includes well-known radio actors from the Golden Age and features Les Tremayne as the narrator.
