Women’s Magazine – June 21, 2010

Women's Magazine  continues our special LGBT Pride Programing.  We  will talk to lesbian feminist activist and writer Sara Shulman about her new book "Ties That Bind: Familial Homphobia and Its Consequence " a book that explains how it is  that our  families are  often the real source of homophobia.  And we will pay tribute to radical lesbian feminist theologian Mary Daly who died this January at the age of 81.  And lastly we will celebrate the music of bisexual African American musician meshell ndegeocello who will be playing at Yoshi's in San Francisco this weekend.  Plus the women's community calendar.
