Flashpoints – July 17, 2009

We broadcast live from Sonoma State University in the heart of farmworker country. We'll start our special series on the abuse by the Department of Motor Vehicles against migrant workers; also, we'll speak to the chair of the faculty senate at Sonoma State about slash and burn cutbacks on campuses around California; we'll also feature a special segment on the recent decision by the University of California and the CSU to prevent graduates of community colleges entry into the four-year system; and we'll continue our drumbeat coverage of the US-sponsored coup in Honduras.
