The Morning Show – July 2, 2009

The Morning Show updates the leadership crisis in Honduras with Dana Frank, Professor of Labor History and Gender Studies, UC Santa Cruz. Then the legacy of Michael Jackson is discussed with Davy D, Hip Hop historian, and Rickie Vincent, Professor and Music Historian. In the second  hour we honor the 75th Anniversary of “Bloody Thursday”, the first day of the San Francisco General Strike of 1934. Then on the 50th Anniversary of the San Francisco Mime Troupe a preview of “TOO BIG TO FAIL”.
