An hour long discussion of Juneteenth, the anniversary of the day slaves in Texas received the news of the Emancipation Proclamation. Then in the second hour a conversation with Larry Tye, former Boston Globe reporter and author of “SATCHEL: The Life and Times of an American Legend”.  Wrapping up the program East Bay Assembywoman Nancy Skinner discusses the Budget Crisis in Sacramento and we get details about the 72nd Annual Stern Grove Festival.
