Today’s program features news headlines from the Americas with a follow up report on the unfolding events in Honduras, featuring journalist, George Ciccarriello- Maher. We discuss how you can participate in the Pacifica Network and KPFA elections. We hear Salvadoran poet Jorge Argueta read his poem "Close to the Fire" about the recent left electoral triumph. We stroll down the Streets of Aztlan and hear the buzz in the barrio about Proyecto Mission Bohemia from popular musician’s Francisco Ferrer and Alfredo Gomez and the community produced CD “Mission Bohemia.” We include a calendar of upcoming events.
