In the first half hour of today’s Radio Chronicles, women in Kenya talk about living with breast cancer; Ann Cotton shares her story of educating females; and Italian and Jewish survivors reflect on the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire of 1911. In the second of today's Radio Chronicles, it's the story of a young Gaza girl's grief when she learns her family has been killed by Israeli bombers; women in Syria and Yemen learn skills for self-sufficiency, the first African American billionaire, Sheila C. Johnson has produced a new film, A Powerful Noise; and entrepreneur Sheena Jones' passion to create fine cognac and wine designed specifically for and by women.
