Radio Chronicles – Eartha Kitt – January 11, 2009 at 6:30pm

International star Eartha Kitt, an award-winning singer, actor, dancer and author, is perhaps best known for her sultry purrs and role as Catwoman in the 1960's television series Batman. But he self-proclaimed "sex-kitten" was an advocate on behalf of people with disabilities, including those with HIV/AIDS and polio. As she struggled against the injustices of racism, child abuse and neglect, Ms. Kitt found fame and fortune abroad, sang in twelve languages and would finally be "accepted" back in the United States, the country she so loved.

Hosted and produced by Safi wa Nairobi.
