Talkies

Saturday Morning Talkies – August 30, 2008

Three years ago, Hurricane Katrina and the devastatingly poor rescue effort left New Orleans workers and patients trapped in Charity Hospital for days on end. We hear a documentary from 2005, and speak with the producer in the present day about the fact that the Hospital remains shut down, leaving New Orlean’s poorest residents without the health care they used to depend on. With Christian Roselund, Brad Ott, and guest host Eric Klein.
