This week’s program covers news, music, film, poetry, and community affairs across the Americas. Vanessa Bohm brings us news headlines from two continents with "News Sin Fronteras." Mr. Chuch takes us on a musical ride through the issues discussed on the "Streets of Aztlan". Nina Serrano interviews two guests: Avotcja reading two electrifying poems, one which has never had a public hearing before; and filmmaker, Mabel Valdiezo discussing her film about the kidnapped, leftist-Chilean children who were given to right wing families during the Pinochet era and are now adults, many still coping with that history and it’s many implications. And all of this spiced with the music of Manu Chao.
