Women’s Magazine – January 7, 2008

This week on Women’s Magazine, we look at the legacy of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto with Pakistani journalist and documentary filmmaker Beena Sarwar.  And, we’ll hear about the rock and roll camp for girls, where girls are encouraged to make as much noise as possible.
Monday, January 7, 1-2 p.m. at 94.1 FM KPFA or online at www.kpfa.org; after broadcast the show will be available in the archives at www.kpfa.org/womensmagazine.

It is resistance that enables people to see that the suffering is not inevitable, not a natural disaster, that it has a human cause that could be ended.
