The first in a 6 part series that takes a glimpse into a little known part of our past – a chronicle of struggle, terror, and triumph, told through the works of the people who lived these events. This is a history written in fire, it is a history that continues to shape our lives today.

Today: How the South Won the War and White Protestant Nation, encompassing the period from the end of the Civil War in 1865, through the revival of the Ku Klux Klan in 1915 and the new forms of racism that developed in the first two decades of the 20th century.
