Thousands in Oakland take to the streets to protest curfew and police violence

Wednesday night, eight thousand protesters filled the streets of downtown Oakland, sitting down in nonviolent civil disobedience and shutting down the intersection of 14th and Broadway in a protest against a county-wide curfew implemented on Monday and as part of ongoing uprisings against police violence.
