How the United States Inspired Nazi Race Laws

Leading politicians in Nazi Germany saw the American Revolution as a great advancement for the Aryan race and were influenced by US race, immigration and eugenics laws in coming up with their own laws. Today we are in conversation about this history with Yale Law professor James Whitman.

  1. Outstanding program with James Whitman, Mitch often, really takes on difficult and uncomfortable topics. What a joy it is to listen throughout the day to many Pacifica programs and have such rich ideas and conversations to chew on. This one stands out. I recorded it to listen more.
