Vladimir Putin’s Russia and then Ai-Jen Poo

Richard Sakwa, Professor of Russian and European Politics at the University of Kent, is in conversation with Mitch Jeserich about the power structure of Russia, Vladimir Putin’s political career and Russia’s relation to the West. Richard Sakwa is the author of the book Frontline Ukraine : Crisis in the Borderlands.

Then, in an ageing society we need to talk about the future. Mitch Jeserich has a conversation with Ai-Jen Poo one of the 100 most influence persons by Time magazine. In 1996 she began organizing Asian migrant workers in New York City, in 2000 she co-founded Domestic Workers United, in 2010 she passed the first Domestic Workers Bill of Rights in the State of New York and a couple of years later California would follow. She helped launch Caring Across Generations and is a 2014 McArthur Foundation fellow, also author of the book The Age of Dignity. She currently is director of the Domestic Workers Alliance.
