Guest Host Brian Edwards-Tiekert speaks with Rayan Elamine for an update on the situation in Gaza, Lebanon, and the Middle East at large.
Rayan Elamine is a writer and journalist from Beirut, Lebanon. A former Victor Navasky fellow at The Nation, he served as a guest editor on “A Day for Gaza.” Elamine is an organizing member of the Arab Resource and Organizing Center (AROC) .
Our Resistance in Residence Artist this week is AeJay Mitchell (they/them). AeJay is a multi-hyphenated performance artist, scholar, educator, and activist whose work centers the decolonization of the theatrical canon, the black avant-garde, and queer political performance practice.
AeJay Mitchell have a play this coming weekend – Duck Gulps in Silence – a staged reading – happening at Brava Studio Theater March 21st at 7 pm and March 22nd at 3 pm. Directed by Edris Cooper.
