David Gans and Blair Jackson, authors of This Is All A Dream We Dreamed: An Oral History of the Grateful Dead, are interviewed by host Richard Wolinsky. They discuss their own interest in the Dead and the background of the book as well as why the Grateful Dead have remained relevant twenty years after the death of lead guitarist Jerry Garcia. They also talk about the Haight in its heyday, and the state of popular music today. An extended 41-minute version of this discussion can be found on the Radio Wolinsky podcast in the Area 941 section of this website.
