KPFA is excited to announce that Upfront with Cat Brooks and Brian Edwards-Tiekert has expanded to 2 hours Monday thru Thursday from 7-9 AM.

Salima Hamiriani continues to host Friday’s Upfront at 7 AM including a special edition of Rising Up with Sonali at 8 AM.

While commercial media is retreating from local reporting, KPFA continues to go against the norm by bringing you new and ambitious reporting from independent voices that rarely get heard in mass media.

Tune in weekday mornings for unfiltered, up to the minute news and analysis brought to you by the Bay Area’s home for independent voices.
