As General Manager of KPFA a major part of my job is fundraising.
Folks always say, “That must be hard to be always asking for help.” Yet to me it’s about connecting with people, creating authentic relationships that tap into their passion to make a difference.
I offer KPFA supporters not only a chance to support and enhance the station’s important work, but the opportunity to join a community of people who share a collective vision to maintain this independent media voice, for the people.
Our immediate short-term goal is very specific: To trim this year’s $200 thousand dollar budget gap.
Times are tough so I’m looking for some angels. KPFA Angels like you who want to make a difference with their lives and with their money, united by the belief that the information that goes out on the air fuels our progressive spirit and the character of our listeners and stakeholders.
