To Record Using Hindenburg:
- Open Hindenburg.
- On the left side, you will see the available tracks. Choose the track you want to record on and ARM it by clicking on the ARM RECORD button.
- Once armed, you will notice audio levels when you bring up a fader on the board (talking into the local mic for example).
- You will also notice that at the bottom of the screen, the record button is flashing.
- When ready to start recording, click the record button. When ready to stop recording press the stop button.


To Export and Save Your Hindenburg Recording:
- Stop the recording by clicking the stop button.
- Click on the File dropdown menu and select Export…
- Name your file, select where you’d like to save it to and click on Save.
If you’d like to save just a portion of the recording, set your in and out points (in by pressing the I button on the keyboard, and out by pressing O) and by selecting Export Selection… in the File dropdown menu.
By default Hindenburg will record at a resolution of 16 bit, at a sample rate of 48000 Hz, in stereo, and will save as a Wav. file.
