Patti Wood is founder and executive director of Grassroots Environmental Education. A Visiting Scholar at Adelphi University, Ms. Wood lectures on the environment and related health issues in the College of Nursing and Public Health. Ms. Wood is the author of Helping to Heal, a book for parents of children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses and co-host of Green Street, a bi-coastal weekly radio show. She is a contributing author of “Earth Matters,” a weekly newspaper column in the Blank Slate newspaper chain, and guest lecturer at Stony Brook University and Hostos Community College in New York City.

 

Doug Wood is a filmmaker, author, composer, music producer and political strategist. He is the co-host and producer of Green Street News, creator and director of numerous public relations campaigns, and the founder and national director of Americans for Responsible Technology. Doug has been elected twelve times to the Board of Directors of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP).
