Today’s show will pay homage to Moacir Santos (July 1926-Aug. 2006) who passed away in Los Angeles about a week after he turned 80. Moacir Santos, composer, arranger, band leader and saxaphonist, was teacher to musicians such as Paulo Moura, João Donato, Nara Leão and Baden Powell.
