Jasson Minadakis is Artistic Director of Marin Theatre Company. In this wide-ranging interview with Richard Wolinsky, he discusses the past season, and the upcoming 2016-2017 season, as well as the various special nights during each production for discussion with cast, book nights at libraries and other events. An Interview with Garry Marshall (1934-2016) hosted by Richard Wolinsky. Garry Marshall died on July 19, 2016 at the age of 81. Over the course of his life, he was a comedy writer, actor, director, and television show-runner, creating shows such as Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley, The Odd Couple, and Mork and Mindy, and directing such successful films such asOverboard, Pretty Woman, The Princess Diaries and more recently Valentine’s Day and New Year’s Eve . His last film, released this April, was Mother’s Day. This interview was recorded in 2012 on the publication of his memoir, My Happy Days in Hollywood.


An interview with John Leguizamo, writer and performer of Latin History for Morons, at Berkeley Rep through August 14, 2016. John Leguizamo has acted in such films as Summer of Sam and Romeo + Juliet and is the voice of Sid in the Ice Age films, is a regular on the Netflix TV series Bloodline, and has taken his one man shows to Broadway. Paula McLain is the author of the novel, Circling The Sun, just out in trade paperback, about the early life in Kenya of aviatrix and feminist icon Beryl Markham. Markham was the daughter of British colonial expatriates, was a horse-trainer, and was involved in a love triangle with Karen Blixen (Isak Dinesen). Hosted by Richard Wolinsky.
