Like the DAD system, files uploaded to LibreTime that have been labeled starting with the shows ID number will be
automatically added to the show’s time slot. LibreTime, however, will automatically load the latest uploaded file two hours
before the scheduled time and will not look for new files added after that. Therefore, if LibreTime has already scheduled
an older file, you must upload the file manually. Follow the steps below to add your file manually.

  • Log in to LibreTime
  • Click on Upload and upload your file by dragging and dropping or by browsing and locating it on your computer.
  • Click on Calendar
  • Locate the show in question and click on it. A menu should appear offering various options.
  • Click on Schedule Tracks. A window should pop up showing you the uploaded tracks on the left and your show’s playlist on the right.
  • Drag and drop your file from the tracks window over to your show’s playlist. Drop the file where it reads
“Drag tracks here from the library.”
  • Click OK

Your content has been loaded to the show’s time slot.

Note: Here is an example of how a file should be labeled: 50801_JUL14-AGAINSTTHEGRAIN

50801 is the show’s ID/DAD number, followed by an underscore ( _ ), the first three letters of the month (JUL), the day’s number (14), a dash (-), and the show’s name (AGAINSTTHEGRAIN).

If you upload a file and the file reverts back to an earlier name, right click on the uploaded file and select edit to rename it.
