Begun in 1986, the Grateful Dead Marathon returns for its 40th year of fun-raising and fundraising for KPFA on Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 9am – midnight PDT.
Tim Lynch and David Gans will feature live, unreleased Grateful Dead recordings, as well as interviews, a live in-studio performance, and all manner of related material. David Ogilvy and others join in as well. It’s tons of fun and airs locally on KPFA, KPFB, KFCF, as well as streams worldwide on kpfa.org, nugs.net, and gdradio.net. Mark your calendars and tell your friends, the KPFA Grateful Dead Marathon is back, celebrating 40 years so far!
