‘Sistah You Are My Medicine’ is presented by the B-H Brilliant Minds Project and the Black Women’s Media & Wellness Project. This event honors Harriet Tubman’s birthday.
This 11th Annual Phenomenal Woman Panel Discussion features guest speakers, Karen Seneferu, teacher and media artist, along with Treva Reid, Oakland City Councilmember.
The discussion take place on Friday, March 22, from 6pm to 9pm at the Joyce Gordon Gallery, located at 406-14th Street in Oakland and includes spoken word, dance, song and food.
